The EyeWriter is an awesome, inspirational research collaboration between Members of Free Art and Technology (FAT), OpenFrameworks, the Graffiti Research Lab, the Ebeling Group, and Tony Quan, an LA graffiti writer, publisher and activist. Together, they are building an open-source, low-cost eye tracking system that will allow patients with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis to draw. ALS is a condition in which the cells in the central nervous system start to degenerate, leaving the victim unable to control all voluntary movement.
